We’re a well established family business in a key role, providing refurbishments in the commercial sector.
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic workers to start immediately as we have multiple jobs in the pipeline. We currently have lots of unit refurbishments in progress, and are seeking an experienced carpenter and trade assistant to come on board.
Along with carpentry, our business involves many different trades and services. You will always have the option to add variety in your day to day duties. As well as plenty of opportunities to learn new skills with our 30 years of experience in the Building and Construction industry.
Hours are Monday - Friday 8am-3:30pm. Standard 38hr week. Fortnightly pay cycle.
We are based in Clayton. Majority of our clients are in the south eastern suburbs, with some sites towards Point Cook.
Wages are performance based - Above Award Rates (Building and Construction General In office Award).
Our standard working hours are 38 hours per week,
strictly between 8-4pm. You will be supported by an organised team with equipment to complete your tasks in a safe and productive manner.
Jobs include:
- Kitchen Demolitions
- Door jambs and architraves
- Skirting, bathroom fittings and fixtures
- General fit out works
Other works involve:
- Demolition
- Tiling
- Flooring - Vinyl planks and carpet
- Cabinetry Work
- Interior claddings
Skills/Experience needed:
- Attention to detail
- Experience in Carpentry or a Qualified Cert III
- Problem solving abilities
- Willingness to learn
- Drivers License
- Australian Resident or Citizen
- Police record (WWCC will also eventually be required, paid for by us)
