William Clarke College is a P-12, co-educational, independent Anglican College. Established in 1988, William Clarke College is located in Kellyville with an enrolment of approximately 2000 students and over 270 staff.

About the Opportunity

William Clarke College is seeking dedicated BAASC (Before and After School Care) Assistants to join our College Community on a casual basis. Reporting to the Co-ordinator of BAASC, you will be responsible for providing a high level of care to all children with our Centre and actively supporting the College's Christian ethos.

Our BAASC Centre is open for before and after school care on Mondays to Fridays from 7am to 9am, and 2:30pm to 6:00pm during school terms. It also provides 7 weeks of Vacation Care service during school holidays each year.

You will work in a team environment with direct responsibility for a group of Preparatory and Primary School aged children as they engage in interesting, educational and fun activities. A commitment to the safety, care and development of children is a key to the role at all times.

This is a casual position with no set hours

About You





- Mature and confident approach to engaging with children of Primary School age
- Previous experience working or volunteering with children will be an advantage
- Availability to work before and after school hours following a roster as well as short notice shifts arising due to unexpected absences among the team
- Able to lead children through activities, meals and social interactions
- Focussed on child safety, child protection, transparency and accountability
- A flexible attitude with a willingness to learn new skills and work collaboratively within a team
- Good communication skills and a friendly persona
- Actively support the College's Christian ethos
- The successful candidate will be required to hold or be willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check in accordance with Child Protection legislation
- Regularly practicing member of a Christian church
