CASUAL FLATBED TRUCK DRIVER – PATHWAY TO FULL-TIME
Position: Flatbed Truck Driver – Casual Start
Location: Upper Coomera

· Transport flatbed loads to construction sites, warehouses and customers
· Load, secure and unload freight safely and correctly
· Work to daily schedules and communicate clearly with the transport team
· Maintain a high standard of presentation and professionalism on customer and job sites
· Follow all safety, load-restraint and site requirements
You will initially work in our smaller vehicles up to 4.5 tonnes GVM, with the opportunity to progress into larger flatbed trucks, greater responsibility and higher earning potential as you gain experience and the fleet continues to grow.
What We’re Looking For:
· Reliable, professional and safety-focused
· Confident driving and manoeuvring vehicles
· Good communication and time-management skills
· HR licence preferred
Pay & Employment:
The role begins on a casual basis under the Road Transport and Distribution Award 2020, classified initially as a Transport Worker Grade 2.
· $34.39 per hour casual ordinary rate
· Overtime, penalty rates and allowances paid in accordance with the Award
· 12% superannuation
· Minimum 4-hour payment per engagement
· Opportunity for progression into higher-grade vehicles and higher classifications as duties increase
· Potential pathway to permanent full-time employment.
