Casual Online Order Packer – Meat Industry

Gingin Grass Fed is looking for a rapid, accurate and reliable casual online order packer to join our Osborne Park team.

We supply premium grass-fed beef, lamb, pork and chicken directly to customers through our online store, wholesale customers and farmers markets.

This is a hands-on role picking and packing online customer orders in a busy, refrigerated food-production environment. You will need to work quickly, accurately follow written orders and confidently identify common meat cuts.

Your Responsibilities

- Pick and pack online customer orders from start to finish
- Select the correct species, cut, size, weight and quantity
- Read and follow customer instructions and order notes
- Weigh, vacuum pack, seal and label meat products
- Check labels, dates, quantities and product presentation
- Ensure completed orders are accurate and packed for dispatch
- Identify and report missing or incorrect stock promptly
- Maintain cold-chain, food-safety and hygiene requirements
- Assist with thermoformed packaging as new equipment is introduced
- Restock packaging materials and keep the online area organised
- Complete cleaning and help the team meet daily dispatch deadlines

Speed and Accuracy Are Essential

This is a busy role with firm daily deadlines. We need someone who can maintain a consistently fast work pace without sacrificing order accuracy, product quality or food safety. You must be able to stay focused, move efficiently between orders and check your own work before an order leaves the packing area.

About You

You will be well suited to this position if you:
- Have previous meat packing, food production,



warehouse picking or order-fulfilment experience
- Can recognise common beef, lamb, pork and chicken cuts
- Work quickly and accurately throughout the shift
- Can confidently read written orders, labels and customer instructions
- Have the numeracy skills needed to check weights and quantities
- Are reliable, punctual and comfortable with a 5:30am start
- Are available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday
- Take responsibility for checking your work
- Accept feedback and learn quickly
- Work respectfully and cooperatively with others

We can teach you our systems and equipment. You need to bring the reliability, attention to detail and genuine work pace required for the position.

Physical Requirements

Applicants must be able to:
- Stand and move for the duration of the shift
- Regularly lift and move products and boxes weighing approximately 15–25kg
- Work in refrigerated and freezer environments
- Perform repetitive packing, lifting and handling tasks
- Maintain pace during busy production periods
