Advantage Healthcare & Physiotherapy | Wynnum Advantage Healthcare & Physiotherapy is seeking a reliable, capable and adaptable receptionist to join our busy, well-established allied health clinic in Wynnum.
We are looking for someone who learns quickly, thinks independently and takes responsibility for their work. The successful applicant will be organised, attentive to detail and comfortable managing changing priorities in a busy clinical environment.
About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting patients and providing excellent customer service
- Managing appointments, telephone enquiries and payments
- Supporting the daily operations of the clinic
- Handling multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
- Responding to unexpected situations with initiative and sound judgement

Applicants should demonstrate:
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable and committed to their responsibilities
- Strong problem-solving skills: Able to think logically, use initiative and make sensible decisions
- Adaptability: Comfortable learning new systems and adjusting to changing situations
- Quick learning: Able to understand instructions, retain information and apply what they learn
- Attention to detail: Accurate, organised and able to prioritise tasks
- Communication skills: Friendly, articulate and qualified with patients and colleagues
- Computer confidence: Comfortable using technology and learning new software
Previous medical reception experience is advantageous but not essential. We value aptitude, attitude and reliability over experience.
Hours and Conditions
- Casual position
- Predominantly afternoon and evening shifts, approximately 4 pm to 8 pm
- On-the-job training provided
- Award-based remuneration
