Working approximately 2 days per week, ideally Mondays, Tuesdays and every second Wednesday (5 days per fortnight), you'll be responsible for creating a welcoming and memorable experience for everyone who walks through our cellar door. This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys talking to people, selling wine and creating memorable experiences. You'll be just as comfortable guiding a couple through a wine tasting as you are hosting an intimate event, chatting with an influencer or welcoming a member of the media.
Key responsibilities
- Welcoming customers and creating a warm, relaxed cellar door experience
- Conducting wine tastings and confidently talking customers through our wines
- Selling wine and actively identifying opportunities to increase sales
- Sharing the stories behind Olive Farm Wines, our family history and our Swan Valley roots
- Processing sales, orders and customer enquiries
- Building genuine relationships with customers and encouraging repeat visits
- Hosting small, intimate wine events and experiences, sometimes independently
- Representing Olive Farm Wines at selected events and promotional opportunities
- Confidently welcoming and engaging with influencers, content creators, and media representatives.
- Helping create engaging content and being comfortable appearing in photos or videos
- Keeping the cellar door looking welcoming, organised, and ready for customers
- Assisting with general cellar door duties and maintaining a high standard of presentation

- Flexibility with availability for additional weekday shifts during school holidays, public holidays and peak trading periods
- Availability to host or assist with events outside usual cellar door hours, generally in evenings or on weekends (We plan our events well in advance, with event dates generally confirmed and provided at least 4 weeks ahead, giving you plenty of notice to manage your schedule.)
