About the role

We are seeking educators for our 56 place early childhood centre in Craigie. We are looking to expand our team with educators, including those attending university and study, and we offer Certificate 3 traineeship positions for recent school leavers. You will work a 38 hour week, with traineeships offered through CTAS including online study and support with monthly visits.

Key responsibilities

- Support children's development and learning in the centre
- Build and maintain relationships with families, children and educators
- Work within a team environment across 3 rooms with room leaders or teachers
- Contribute to maintaining consistency of care for children and families
- Work on weekly rotating rosters, with the centre open from 7am to 6pm

About you

- Reliable person with a friendly and outgoing personality




- Outstanding verbal communication skills
- Recent school leaver (last year or this year) for traineeship positions
- Ability to work in a team environment with good communication and strong bonds

About us

We are a small early childhood centre with a family feel and a fantastic team of long term staff. For over 25 years we have trained Certificate 3 trainees and we love that some of them still work for us after 18 years. Our centre's focus is children first, and we ensure children get an extension of the family home. We maintain an over ratio of educators in our centre to ensure consistency of care and do not require agency or relief staff.
