We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Process Operators to join our cheese production team at our Yatala branch.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work as part of a production team to meet daily output, quality and food safety requirements.

Two working arrangements are available:

- Part-time, school-hours shift (9:00am–3:00pm, Monday to Friday);

- Full-time afternoon shift (38 hours over four days per week). Exact afternoon shift times and roster days will be confirmed during recruitment.

This is a hands-on role in a refrigerated cheese production facility, with working temperatures below 5°C. Applicants must be comfortable working for extended periods in a cold environment while wearing required protective clothing and following hygiene and safety procedures.

Duties:

- Set up, monitor and safely operate cheese processing and packing lines.

- Operate production equipment and monitor product quality, weights and packaging integrity.

- Pack, seal, label and palletise finished cheese products accurately.

- Prepare, handle and move ingredients, packaging and raw materials in accordance with procedures.

- Follow production schedules,



work instructions and traceability requirements.

- Complete product changeovers, routine cleaning and sanitation of equipment and work areas.

- Comply with food safety, allergen control, hygiene, quality and workplace safety requirements.

Skills and Experience:

- Able and willing to work in a cold production environment below 5°C.

- Strong attention to detail, with a reliable, methodical approach to work and personal hygiene.

- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and undertaking repetitive manual handling tasks.

- Previous food manufacturing experience is desirable
- forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
