Izzy Chai require a talented chef who loves creating seasonal, exotic Asian table dishes in a rapid-paced, good-humored kitchen? Izzy Chai restaurant looking for a Full-Time Chef to join our vibrant team on the Sunshine Coast.
We serve nutritional wholesome dishes made from fresh local produce, including pasture-raised meats and seasonal garden ingredients and imported Thai herbs and spices.
What You’ll Do
· Work closely with our Manager to plan and execute a seasonal menu with local flair, including for events, parties and special functions.
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen in line with colleagues and to food safety standards
· Support a positive, collaborative kitchen culture with a focus on consistency and efficiency – teamwork and harmony at all times is expect.
What We’re Looking for
· Commercial cookery qualification (Cert III or higher) or proven minimum 3 years’ equivalent experience
· Previous restaurant, or functional Asian cooking experience
· Passion for best tasting cuisine with high-quality presentation
· Reliability, excellent communication, and a positive team attitude
· Availability to work set roster including weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings for events
· Someone willing to step-up in emergencies to support colleagues
