Quality Dental Care Group

Brighton

Are you a motivated and driven Clinical Coordinator looking for a role where you're truly valued? At Quality Dental Care we foster a close-knit team who genuinely love what we do - and we'd love to find the right person to grow with us!

About Us

At Quality Dental Care Group, we are committed to excellence, innovation, and the growth of our people. Our modern, fully equipped practice reflects our drive to stay at the forefront of dental technology, offering an environment and calibre of training that is genuinely hard to find elsewhere.

Being part of a growing national dental group comes with many benefits. We are open and committed to continuous improvement and always looking for ways to streamline processes to make your job easier. We value your feedback and encourage ideas on how we can work smarter and deliver an even better experience for both our team and our patients.

At the same time, we have access to the resources, support, and opportunities that come with a larger organisation, while maintaining the close-knit, welcoming culture of each individual clinic.

We just want to create a place where everyone enjoys coming to work, we support each other through TEAMWORK, and each individual is valued for what they bring to the team.

About The Role

This is a pivotal role sitting at the intersection of clinical operations, patient experience and team leadership. Working closely with the Practice Manager, you’ll drive consistency, compliance and a high standard of patient care across the practice, and you’ll lead and develop our dental assisting team along the way.

It’s a hands-on role,

suited to someone who really understands the inner workings of a busy practice and wants the scope to improve it. Ideally full time, however we would consider part-time, 4 day sper week, for the right candidate.

In this role you will be:

- Coordinating the daily flow of the clinic team, including breaks, staff cover and clinical operations
- Acting as the escalation point for complex booking queries, scheduling conflicts and urgent appointments
- Monitoring wait times, appointment availability and booking trends, and reporting on utilisation and capacity
- Coordinating stock and supplies for the clinical team
- Providing day-to-day leadership and support to our dental assistants
- Leading the induction and onboarding of new clinical support staff
- Identifying and addressing training and development needs across the team
- Championing our clinical standards, infection control protocols and workplace policies
- Providing feedback, both positive and constructive, and supporting the team to perform at their best
- Owning the development and review of clinical procedures, workflows and SOPs
- Identifying operational inefficiencies and contributing to improvements across the practice

About You

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a dental practice in a clinical support, coordination or senior administrative role
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or above,

or equivalent clinical qualification
- Strong working knowledge of dental practice operations — clinical workflows, chair management, appointment scheduling, and the role of each clinical team member
- Demonstrated experience managing rosters in a dental or healthcare setting, including leave, absences and last-minute changes
- Proven ability to lead, support and develop a team in a clinical environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to build effective working relationships with dentists and clinical staff
- Proficiency in D4W or equivalent practice management software
- High attention to detail, particularly with compliance documentation and clinical records

What We Offer

- A fun and caring work environment where our people come first
- Above award rates
- Ongoing career development opportunities
- Access to the latest technology and innovation in the industry
- Above award rates
- Novated Leasing
- A supportive, friendly team environment
- A practice that genuinely cares about its patients and its people
