With continued growth and recently awarded projects, we’re looking for experienced commercial construction electricians to join our team. We value safe work practices, quality workmanship and people who take pride in getting the job done properly.

About the role

Working alongside our site supervisors and other trades, you’ll carry out electrical installation work from site establishment and rough-in through to fit-off, testing and commissioning.

Your responsibilities will include

- Temporary site power: Install and maintain temporary construction power systems, including temporary switchboards, distribution cabling and site lighting.
- In-slab conduit and deck work: Set out and install conduits, cast-in boxes and associated electrical provisions before concrete pours, coordinating with other trades.
- Cable tray and containment: Install cable tray, cable ladder, associated supports and conduit systems.
- Switchboard installation and fit-off: Install and fit off switchboards and distribution boards, including submain and final subcircuit terminations.
- Electrical rough-in and fit-off: Install cabling, lighting, power outlets, electrical equipment and control wiring.
- Drawings and specifications: Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications to complete installations accurately.
- Testing and fault finding:



Test and commission electrical installations, identify faults and carry out rectification work.
- Safety and coordination: Work in accordance with electrical standards, SWMS and site procedures, coordinating with supervisors and other trades to meet project deadlines and quality requirements.

Qualifications and experience To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A current Queensland electrical licence.
- A current driver’s licence.
- A Construction Industry White Card.
- Current CPR and LVR certification.
- Experience in commercial electrical construction, including rough-in, slab/deck work and fit-off.
- The ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and installation details.
- Valuable communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a site team.
- A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

The following experience and qualifications will be highly regarded:

- Multi-residential construction experience, particularly on aged-care developments.
- Experience with KNX or other programmable lighting control systems.
- High Risk Work Licence for EWP operation.
