Description
- Support the preparation of monthly management reports, financial performance analysis and executive reporting packs
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting and planning processes across multiple business units
- Analyse financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and key business drivers
- Partner with stakeholders across finance and non-finance teams to provide commercial insights and decision support
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions and business cases
- Perform variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and prior periods, providing commentary and recommendations
- Utilise ERP systems to extract, validate and analyse financial data
- Support month-end activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives,
helping streamline reporting processes and enhance financial visibility across the business
Profile
- CA or CPA qualified (or close to completing)
- Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline
- First-time or second-time movers are encouraged to apply and will be highly regarded (business services/audit)
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting or performance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills with experience handling large data sets, financial modelling, and reporting
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to engage with stakeholders across the business
- Strong analytical mindset and approach to problem-solving tasks
- Understanding of how to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
Job Offer
- 3 days in office, 2 from home
- $130,000-$140,000 + Super, contingent on experience
