West State Electrics is a well-established, locally owned Perth company specialising in solar, battery storage, EV charging and electrical solutions. With more than 15 years in business and over 20,000 solar systems installed, we have built a reputation for quality installations, honest advice and long-term customer relationships across both residential and commercial projects from 6.6kw to 1MW and above.

Due to strong growth in the commercial solar and battery market, we are looking for a Commercial Project Coordinator to support our commercial team.

What you will do

- Build project programmes and schedule crews, subcontractors and deliveries from contract award.
- Track Western Power, council and structural approvals with our engineering team.
- Track procurement, working with our on-site warehouse.
- Track budget, margin and variations, and manage milestone invoicing.
- Liaise with stakeholders and manage professional relationships.
- Collect compliance and commissioning records and compile handover packs.
- Work with our safety team and join occasional site inspections.

What you bring

- Hands-on experience on solar or renewable energy projects, ideally on a commercial scale.
- Experience in project coordination,



project controls or as a junior project manager.
- A working understanding of AS/NZS 3000, 3008, 5033, 5139 and 4777, and the Western Power connection process.
- Confidence with Excel, CRM management systems and willingness to learn new systems.
- Strong organisation, attention to detail, and clear communication.
- A safety-first attitude, and a White Card or willingness to obtain one.
- A current driver's licence, own vehicle and Australian working rights.

Helpful, but not essential

- A project management qualification, or currently working towards one.
- Electrical licence or SAA accreditation.
- Battery storage or EV charging installation experience.
