What you'll be doing
Your role will primarily focus on leasing, particularly retail leasing, and will involve:
- Managing a variety of commercial and retail leasing matters
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating leases, agreements for lease, renewals and associated documentation
- Advising clients on leasing arrangements, obligations and negotiations
- Handling lease variations, assignments and other leasing-related matters
- Gaining exposure to other areas of property law
- Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders
- Working collaboratively with partners and other members of the team
- Delivering practical,
commercially focused advice
What we're looking for Ideally, you will have:
- At least 2 years' PAE in property law, with experience in leasing, particularly retail and/or commercial leasing
- Experience gained within a commercial law firm or specialist property practice
- Solid drafting, negotiation and communication skills
- A practical approach and genuine commitment to client service
- The ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail
- The drive to further develop your expertise and advance your career
