Located in Brisbane’s northern suburbs, Eatons Hill Hotel—awarded Australia’s Best Meetings & Events Venue (AHA Awards 2022)—is seeking a motivated and service-driven Conference & Functions Supervisor to join our professional team.

Eatons Hill Hotel offers a premium and versatile conferencing experience, featuring up to 20 adaptable spaces designed to accommodate a range of client needs and atmospheres. Our facilities include multiple boardrooms, conference suites, and a multi-level ballroom capable of hosting up to 600 guests, complemented by our award-winning 90-room boutique accommodation.

About the Role The Conference & Functions Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our corporate meetings, conferences, and private functions. This position requires a proactive, hands-on approach and a commitment to providing professional, high-quality service with exceptional attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

· Supervise the setup, execution and breakdown of corporate meetings, conferences, and private functions

· Lead and support conference and functions staff during service

· Maintain presentation standards across all conference and function spaces





· Work collaboratively with the broader operations team to deliver polished client experience reflective of our award-winning standards.

· Monitor service standards and resolve guest concerns promptly

· Liaise effectively with kitchen, bar and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery

· Uphold venue safety, hygiene, and RSA compliance standards

About You

· A minimum of 2 years experience in conferences and functions is most ideal

· Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills

· Professional presentation and communication skills

· Excellent communication and organisational abilities

· Strong leadership and team management skills

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

· Flexible availability, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends

· Current RSA Certificate (mandatory)
