About the role

WA External Solutions is a Busselton-based roofing and construction business. We are looking for a new lead for our Building Services: decks, patios, sheds, fencing and minor renovations — and we're looking for a registered builder. You'll quote and win the work, recruit and lead the crew, deliver to standard and own the division's P&L.;

This isn’t a site supervisor role with a nicer title. You’ll quote and win the work, recruit and lead the crew, deliver to standard and own the division’s P&L.; The role is built to grow: for the person who builds the division, proves it pays its way and shows they can run a business above the crews, the General Manager role is the next step.

For the builder running their own show and tired of it

You’ve got the registration, the skills and the reputation. What you haven’t got is a weekend. Running your own building business means chasing payments, carrying the insurance, funding the next job and doing the quoting at night. We’re offering a different deal: build and run a division with our balance sheet, our crews, our office and our pipeline behind you. You price it, you lead it, you own the result — without the personal risk. Do it well and the business itself is the next thing to run.

For the supervisor who’s outgrown the role





If you’re a registered builder supervising someone else’s sites, you already know what you’d do differently. This is the chance to prove it. You’ll run a division from a blank page in one of the best places in the country to live and work — decks, patios, sheds and small builds across the South West, home every night, no FIFO. It’s a working builder’s job at the start and a business leader’s job once you’ve built it. We’re an established Busselton company with two crews already on the road.

Key responsibilities

- Price, win and deliver decks, patios, sheds, fencing and small renovations

- Recruit and lead the crew; own safety and quality on site

- Run the division's numbers — job costing, margin, backlog — and report weekly to the CEO

- Grow the service range as demand and your skills allow

About you

- Current WA building practitioner registration — essential
- A building trade background, carpentry preferred, and the ability to work alongside the crew when it counts

- Experience estimating and running residential jobs end to end

- Experience leading a crew or subcontractors
