Vertex Workforce is looking for a reliable Construction Trade Assistant to support an experienced HVAC installer on a commercial project in the Brisbane CBD. You'll work one-on-one alongside the installer, mainly assisting with ductwork installation. This is a casual role starting Tuesday 20 October, initially for one week with a solid possibility of extending.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with the installation of commercial ductwork
- Handling, moving and positioning materials and ductwork sections
- Passing tools, holding and securing components during installation
- Keeping the work area clean, safe and organised
- Following site safety procedures and SWMS at all times
About you
- Current White Card (General Construction Induction)
- Previous construction site experience
- Your own PPE (steel caps, hi-vis, hard hat, gloves, eye protection)
- Full, unrestricted Australian work rights
- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to start Tuesday 20 October
- Previous ductwork or HVAC installation experience
