As Content Operations

Manager, you’ll run day-to-day Content Distribution across the network. You’ll make sure our weekday, and weekend programming is delivered without a hitch.You’ll work closely with the Head of Content Operations and the Network & Content Distribution Lead. You’ll also partner with Content Directors, Sales, Production and Broadcast Applications to keep our operations efficient.

You’ll be the go-to person when things need fixing.What you’ll be doingRunning day-to-day program operations so weekday and weekend programming is delivered smoothlyMaintaining databases and playout logs for program feedsRolling out schedules, changes and updates across all content systems accurately and on timeActing as the team’s first point of contact for operational issues, troubleshooting quickly to minimise disruption to broadcastsEscalating critical issues to senior leadership when neededKeeping operational documents and systems up to date with accurate schedule and market detailsSpotting opportunities to streamline daily operations, and putting new processes and best practices in placeCommunicating operational changes clearly and promptly to stakeholders across Content,



Sales and TechnologyMaking sure all operations comply with broadcasting codes of conduct and relevant regulationsTaking part in an on-call roster so content operations is supported at all timesWhat you’ll bringExperience in radio or broadcast operations, with a focus on managing daily schedulesExtensive knowledge of radio and content operations workflowsAn understanding of broadcasting compliance, such as contests and promotions, and risk managementThe ability to implement content decisions with an eye on market impact and audience engagementA calm head under pressure, plus strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsStrong attention to detail and solid organisational skillsSelf-motivation, with the ability to work independently and as part of a teamSouthern Cross Austereo (SCA) is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and fair hiring.
