About Us

Pardoo Roadhouse is a hospitality and accommodation business located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. We provide food, refreshments and accommodation services to travellers, tourists and workers visiting the region.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cook to join our team on a full-time basis.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare, cook and present a variety of meals in accordance with established recipes and quality standards.
- Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner menu items as required.
- Monitor food quality, portion sizes, presentation and consistency.
- Assist with menu planning and daily food preparation requirements.
- Ensure food is stored, handled and prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate ingredients and minimise food wastage.
- Assist with ordering food supplies and maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen equipment, preparation areas and storage facilities.
- Operate commercial cooking equipment safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate food preparation to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Accommodate customer dietary requirements where practicable.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and hospitality staff.

Skills and Experience
- Relevant commercial cookery qualification, such as Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or equivalent relevant experience.




- Previous experience working as a Cook in a restaurant, roadhouse, hotel or similar commercial kitchen.
- Knowledge of Australian food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management, communication and organisational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

HOTEL OR MOTEL MANAGER – FULL-TIME Pardoo Roadhouse | Pardoo, Western Australia

About Us

Pardoo Roadhouse is a regional hospitality business located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, providing accommodation, dining and other services to travellers, tourists and workers.

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Hotel or Motel Manager to oversee our accommodation operations and ensure the efficient delivery of guest services.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accommodation facilities, including approximately 10–12 guest rooms.
- Oversee reservations, check-ins, check-outs, room allocations and guest enquiries.
- Supervise housekeeping,



reception and other accommodation-related staff.
- Recruit, train, roster and monitor the performance of staff.
- Maintain high standards of guest service, cleanliness, presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to improve service efficiency.
- Manage accommodation budgets, operating expenses, occupancy levels and revenue.
- Monitor room rates, booking trends and accommodation performance.
- Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, safety inspections and room readiness.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and applicable hospitality regulations.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve operational issues professionally.
- Coordinate with food and beverage and other departments to ensure guest requirements are met.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate financial and accommodation records.

Skills and Experience
- Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Business Management or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Previous experience in hotel, motel, resort or accommodation management.
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- Experience managing staff, budgets, reservations and customer service.
- Knowledge of accommodation operations, workplace safety and hospitality standards.
- Ability to work independently in a regional workplace.
- Willingness to work weekends and public holidays when required.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $99,800.00 per year
