Lyra is looking for passionate and motivated Chefs and Cooks of all levels to join our kitchen team on the Sunshine Coast.
We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic kitchen team members who take pride in their work and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Whether you are an experienced Chef, qualified Cook or looking to develop your skills, we welcome applications from candidates who have a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and restaurant standards
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation and portioning
- Assist with food preparation, stock control and kitchen organisation
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Work closely with the kitchen and FOH teams during service
What We're Looking For
- Chefs and Cooks of all levels are welcome to apply
- 1–2 years’ experience in Greek cuisine or a modern restaurant is preferred but not essential
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Passion for food, fresh ingredients and Greek cuisine
- Ability to work well in a rapid-paced team environment
- Strong attention to food quality, cleanliness and presentation
- Reliable, responsible and respectful approach to work
