Axo's Playland is Perth's newest indoor play centre, providing a safe, exciting, and welcoming experience for children and families. We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Cook / Café Team Member to join our growing team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and helping deliver an outstanding experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items to a high standard
- Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
- Assist with food preparation and stock rotation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen
- Monitor inventory and notify management of stock requirements
- Work collaboratively with café and front-of-house staff
- Provide friendly customer service when required
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a café, kitchen, or hospitality workplace a must
- Ability to work efficiently during busy periods
- Strong attention to cleanliness and food safety
- Reliable, punctual, and motivated attitude
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Availability to work weekends, school holidays, and public holidays as required
Desirable
- Food Safety Handler Certificate
- Experience preparing café-style meals and snacks
- Barista experience (advantage but not essential)
Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
