Neptune Oceanic manages a fleet of luxury Riviera motor yachts for owners on the Gold Coast and in the Whitsundays. This is a full-time, ongoing junior role with training in vessel care, maintenance and marina operations. The role is split between two bases: approximately 8 months a year at Mantaray Marina, Main Beach, and 4 months at Coral Sea Marina, Airlie Beach. Accommodation is provided while in Airlie Beach.
Key responsibilities
- Washdowns after every owner trip
- Teak cleaning, stainless polishing, bilge and engine room housekeeping
- Refuelling and moving vessels around the marina
- Spotting and reporting defects or damage
About you
- Hands-on experience detailing or maintaining boats or cars
- A sharp eye for detail
- Honest, reliable and self-motivated, often working unsupervised
- Comfortable working alone and as part of a crew
- Able to stay organised when schedules change at short notice
- Current recreational boat licence (any Australian state or territory)
- Current driver's licence
- Willing to spend approximately 4 months a year in Airlie Beach
- Experience on luxury or large motor yachts (bonus)
- Knowledge of marine cleaning and care products (bonus)
