About the Role:

As a Deli Assistant, you’ll be responsible for preparing fresh food, slicing meats and cheeses, maintaining cleanliness, and providing friendly, efficient service to our customers at the deli counter.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing and presenting deli items such as cold meats, salads, and ready-to-eat meals
- Operating slicing machines and food preparation equipment safely
- Serving customers with a smile and offering product recommendations
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness
- Assisting with stock rotation, labelling, and merchandising

What We’re Looking For:

- Prior experience working in a deli, café, or food service environment
- Robust customer service skills and a team-oriented attitude
- A focus on food safety and cleanliness
- Must be available for Weekday Afternoon/Evening Shifts and Weekend Work.
- Reliability and a good work ethic

Pay: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 – 28.0 per week
