Join our dynamic dental practice as a Dental Nurse. Located in the heart of Chelsea, we are a family-owned, 4-chair practice with a strong passion for helping our community achieve healthy and beautiful smiles. We are seeking a dental assistant to join our dental family in a qualified environment. The position is effective immediately.
Key responsibilities
- Providing chair-side assistance – general dentistry, implants, orthodontic aligners, extractions, whitening, endodontics, room preparation and changeover
- Maintaining of Steri and Clinic – knowledge of Australian infection control standards and instrument maintenance duties
- General reception – building strong rapport with patients, invoicing accounts, managing appointments, answering phones, handling confidential documents, clear communication with patients and clinical staff
About you
- Minimum 1-2 years of dental nursing experience required
- A full understanding of infection control procedures and tracking systems
- A strong and thorough knowledge of dental procedures
- Excellent organisational skills along with a positive can-do attitude
- Strong communication and relationship skills
- Strong time management skills and teamwork
- Well-developed clinical and administrative skill set
- Australian permanent resident
