South West Orthodontics is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our friendly team. This role can be offered on a full-time or part-time basis for the right candidate. About the Role
As a Dental Assistant in our orthodontic practice, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and creating a positive experience for our patients.
Your responsibilities will include
- Chairside assisting with orthodontic procedures
- Preparing and maintaining clinical areas
- Sterilisation and infection control
- Assisting with patient flow and appointment coordination
- Providing excellent patient care and support
- General clinical and administrative duties as required
About You
We’re looking for someone who is reliable, positive, and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.
Ideally, you will have:
- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (preferred)
- Previous dental or orthodontic experience (highly regarded but not essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, team-focused attitude
- A genuine interest in patient care
