Complete Dental Coorparoo is seeking a Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team three to four days a week. This is a role that plays a vital part in creating a welcoming and professional experience for our patients. Based in Coorparoo, QLD, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of our practice.
What you'll be doing
- Greeting patients in a warm and professional manner upon arrival at the practice
- Managing patient appointments, scheduling, confirmations and rescheduling as required
- Answering telephone enquiries
- Processing patient payments and handling financial transactions accurately
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and managing patient records in compliance with privacy regulations
- Assisting with general practice administration and support to the dental team
- Keeping the reception area clean, organised and welcoming
- Supporting the dentists with patient flow and operational needs
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred, no dental experience required as training will be provided
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with patients and staff
- Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in using computers
- Ability to handle payments and financial transactions with accuracy
- A critical thinker with problem-solving skills
- A friendly, professional demeanour and genuine passion for patient care
