You will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing headers and associated agricultural machinery to ensure equipment is ready for harvest and operating efficiently throughout the year.
Pay rate will be dependant on experience and discussed upon interview.
Key responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair headers and harvesting equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Carry out pre-season inspections and harvest preparation.
- Perform breakdown repairs both in the workshop and in the field.
- Maintain machinery to a high standard of safety and reliability.
- Keep accurate records of servicing, repairs and parts used.
About you
- Experience working on headers and agricultural machinery.
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and diesel systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, hardworking and safety-conscious.
- Willingness to work flexible schedule during the busy harvest season.
- Relevant trade qualifications or hands-on experience preferred.
