About the Role

We are seeking experienced, reliable, and calm support workers to assist a participant living in a SIL home in Clyde North.

This role involves but not limited to, personal care, mealtime assistance, behaviour support.

Key Responsibilities

- All daily living tasks
- Personal care
- Assistance with Meals
- Continence support
- Behaviour support strategies following BSP
- Repositioning, pressure area care & skin integrity
- Monitoring safety due to impulsive movements/falls risk
- Calm, trauma-informed communication
- Creating a low-stimulus, supportive environment
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation





Client Needs

- Male staff preferred for personal care (client comfort preference)
- Must follow step-by-step communication and behaviour strategies
- Must maintain dignity, respect, and professionalism at all times

Requirements:

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or similar
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Current Driver’s Licence & reliable car
- Ability to stay calm, patient and follow step-by-step instructions
- Good communication skills and professional attitude
- Reliability and consistency are essential
