Are you a caring, reliable person who enjoys working with children?
We’re looking for a support worker to assist a 9-year-old boy in Elsternwick. You’ll support his daily routines, help him enjoy activities and provide a reassuring presence for him and his family.
What you’ll do
Assist with daily routines and personal care as needed.
Support secure mobility.
Enjoy play, activities and community outings together.
Work with his family and our team to provide consistent support.
Complete brief shift notes.
What we’re looking for
Someone who is patient, friendly and dependable, with:
Experience working with children, preferably children with disability.
Good communication skills.
A willingness to learn his routines and individual support needs.
Relevant qualifications are welcome, but practical experience and a caring approach are highly valued. We’ll provide guidance on his individual support needs.
What you’ll need before starting
NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
Working with Children Check for paid employment.
A valid driver’s licence and reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
Australian work rights.
