About the role

Immediate Start! RaeCare Support Services is urgently seeking compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic Disability Support Workers to join our growing team. Multiple positions are available across Logan, South Brisbane, Scenic Rim, Beaudesert and surrounding areas, with a variety of shifts and a substantial number of hours available for suitable applicants, including active overnight shifts from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Key responsibilities

- Providing individualised, person-centred disability support
- Assisting participants with personal care and daily living activities
- Supporting community access, social engagement and appointments
- Assisting with household tasks, meal preparation and maintaining a safe living environment
- Encouraging independence and supporting participants to achieve their personal goals
- Providing active overnight support where required
- Maintaining accurate progress notes and documentation
- Communicating effectively with participants, families, colleagues and management
- Following individual support plans, organisational policies and NDIS Practice Standards

About you

- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), or currently studying towards this qualification
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Working with Children Blue Card
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Current driver's licence




- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive motor vehicle insurance
- Strong communication skills and a professional, compassionate approach
- Reliability, flexibility and a genuine passion for supporting people with disability
- Previous disability support experience is highly regarded; however, applications from suitable candidates currently studying who are enthusiastic and willing to learn are welcome
