About the role

As a Disability Support Worker within our SIL home, you will provide individualised support to NDIS participants in a welcoming residential environment.

Key responsibilities

- Supporting participants with daily living activities and personal care.
- Encouraging independence, choice and decision-making.
- Assisting with meal preparation, household tasks and maintaining a safe, comfortable home.
- Supporting community participation, social activities and personal goals.
- Providing medication assistance in accordance with training, authorisations and care plans.
- Following individual support plans, behaviour support plans and organisational procedures.
- Maintaining accurate progress notes, incident reports and documentation.
- Working collaboratively with participants, families, colleagues and allied health professionals.
- Promoting dignity, respect, privacy and participant rights at all times.

About you

- Previous experience in disability support, aged care, community services or a related field.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team.
- Reliability, flexibility and a commitment to delivering exceptional support.
- Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends and overnight shifts.
