Support Worker – Aged & Community Care (Cert III)

The Role

We are looking for dedicated, compassionate female Care Workers to join our growing field team on a casual basis, with genuine opportunity to transition into permanent part time hours.

You will visit clients in their homes across the Ballina region including Ballina, Lennox Head, Byron Bay, Brunswick Heads, Ocean Shores, Mullumbimby, and through to Lismore, helping older Australians live comfortably and safely in familiar surroundings.

Candidates must have availability across Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 17:00 (specific rostered days to be agreed).

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting clients with sensitive, daily living tasks, including showering, grooming, and dressing.
- Light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and everyday chores.
- Providing social support, assisting with grocery shopping, and driving clients to medical appointments.
- Helping clients prompt, administer, and record routine medications safely.

About You





- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent.
- A warm, patient, and solutions-focused approach with a genuine desire to improve the lives of local seniors.
- A current, valid Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable, registered vehicle with minimum Third-Party Property Insurance.
- Willingness and adaptability to respond to the changing needs of home care participants.
- Ability to hold or obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC), National Police Check, and current First Aid & CPR certificates.

- Up to $45.29 per hour (dependent on shifts / qualifications), plus $1.05 per kilometre vehicle allowance and paid travel time between consecutive client visits.
