Future Proof Training Academy (FPTA) is looking for an experienced, creative and self-driven Dog Trainer to join our growing team.

We're not looking for someone who simply turns up, follows a lesson plan and goes home. We're looking for someone who wants to bring fresh ideas, take ownership of training programs and help us create something exciting for dogs and their people.

What Could You Be Doing?

Our existing Puppy School and Foundation programs are just the beginning!

You'll have opportunities to

- Independently organise, manage and deliver multiple puppy, foundation and general dog training classes.
- Bring new, innovative ideas for classes, workshops and training experiences.
- Develop engaging programs for dogs of different ages, abilities and training levels.
- Inspire and educate owners through practical, enjoyable learning experiences.
- Take ownership of class scheduling, preparation, delivery and client communication.
- Collaborate with our experienced team to continually improve training programs.
- Help grow our training services and explore new opportunities.

What We're Looking For

Extensive practical experience in delivering group dog training classes and general dog training is essential.

We're particularly interested in someone who:

- Has strong experience independently running puppy, adolescent and general training classes.
- Is confident teaching, coaching and engaging groups of dog owners.
- Has excellent organisational, planning and time-management skills.
- Is self-motivated, reliable and comfortable working independently.
- Can coordinate and deliver multiple classes and programs.




- Has a sound understanding of canine learning, behaviour and welfare.
- Brings creativity, initiative and fresh ideas.
- Enjoys learning, professional development and constructive feedback.
- Is enthusiastic about helping grow and develop new training opportunities.

Experience in more advanced canine behaviour or behaviour modification would be highly regarded, but is not essential. We're looking for someone with solid training experience, a willingness to learn and the motivation to grow.

Hours & Remuneration

We're flexible for the right person!

- Casual or part-time arrangements can be discussed.
- Hours and remuneration are negotiable based on experience, qualifications and responsibilities.
- Availability for some weeknight and weekend classes will be required, but specific days and scheduling are negotiable.
- Opportunities to increase hours and responsibilities as programs grow.
