About the Role We are seeking an experienced Leading Hand Dozer Operator to join our team at a coal mining operation near Moranbah, Queensland.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced dozer operator who can lead by example, support a team of operators and help ensure safe and efficient coal stockpile operations.

Working on a 7 days on / 7 days off rotating roster, with 12-hour shifts, this is a DIDO prospect. Camp accommodation and meals are provided for employees living outside Moranbah.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support a team of dozer operators working on coal stockpile operations, stepping into supervisory duties as required.
- Operate heavy earthmoving equipment safely and efficiently to support production targets and minimise cycle times.
- Monitor equipment performance and operating practices to reduce unnecessary wear,



downtime and maintenance requirements.
- Promote and maintain a robust safety culture, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with site safety standards.
- Follow site Safety and Health Management System requirements, including company policies, procedures and safe work practices.
- Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors and other site personnel to coordinate daily operations.
- Conduct refuelling, routine machine inspections and general equipment checks.
- Maintain compliance with all site and Mackellar policies, procedures and operational requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

- Relevant RII's or mining competencies signed off within the last 5years
- Previous experience in the operation of Dozers, including on stockpiles
- Previous experience in a leading hand or supervisor role
- Current Queensland Coal Board Medical and Standard 11
