Domestic Support & Companion Worker

We are currently looking for caring and reliable Domestic Support & Companion Workers to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping others, values building genuine relationships, and takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming home environment.

About the Role

As a Domestic Support & Companion Worker, you will play an important role in supporting clients to maintain their independence and continue living comfortably at home.

Your responsibilities may include

- Assisting with household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and bathroom cleaning.
- Laundry duties, ironing and changing bed linen.
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, including washing dishes and tidying living areas.
- Basic meal preparation and assistance with everyday household tasks.
- Shopping assistance and community errands as outlined in the client's care plan.
- Providing companionship, social interaction and meaningful conversation.
- Supporting clients to remain connected to their community and interests.
- Observing and reporting any concerns regarding a client's wellbeing or living setting.

This position focuses on domestic assistance and social support services and does not involve personal care,



medication administration or clinical responsibilities.

About You

We're looking for individuals who are compassionate, dependable and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of older people.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

- A genuine passion for supporting older Australians.
- Experience in domestic cleaning, hospitality, housekeeping, disability support, aged care or customer service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while following care plans and service requirements.
- A current Australian Driver Licence and reliable, insured vehicle.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
