About the Role

Working alongside our Venue Manager and other Managers, you'll help lead the day-to-day operations across the venue – which includes; sports bar with TAB facilities, lounge bar, restaurant and bottle shop.

A major focus of this role is coaching, mentoring and developing our team. We're looking for someone who enjoys helping others grow, setting high service standards and building a positive workplace culture.

Your responsibilities will include

· Leading the team during service

· Training, coaching and developing staff and duty managers

· Stock control, with stocktakes

· Opening, closing and cash management

· Supporting bottle shop and kitchen operations

· Beer line cleaning and upholding general bar standards

· Assisting across the entire venue as required

· Maintaining exceptional customer service standards

· Ensuring compliance with RSA, food certificates, TAB and venue procedures

· Helping build a positive team culture to continuously improve operations

About Us The Craigie Tavern, located in the Northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia, is an independently owned venue, that has been proudly serving the Craigie community and surrounding suburbs for 48 years. We offer quality food,



cold drinks and genuine hospitality throughout our venue.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Duty Manager with robust attention to detail and a passion for customer service, to join our management team, and assist with the day-to-day operations across all areas of the establishment.

This is an ideal position for a suitably experienced hospitality manager, who will bring a positive attitude, is team orientated, but can also work autonomously and demonstrates strong leadership skills.

About You

You'll ideally have

· At least 1 year management experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, particularly with experience working in Pubs/Taverns

· A passion for training and developing people

· A hands-on leadership style

· Strong communication, organisational and time management skills

· A positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality

· Reliability, honesty and trustworthy

· Have knowledge of relevant liquor and food service requirements, as well as licensing requirements

· Have flexibility to work a rotating roster across 7 days a week (including public holidays), which will include both opening and closing of the venue

· RSA, food handling and first aid certificates

· WA Approved managers card

· Australian drivers licence

· Have or be willing to obtain a valid police clearance

· Have or be willing to obtain TAB compliance certification within the first month of employment.
