Global TeamUps, on behalf of our client, a leading family-run earthmoving and civil services company, is seeking experienced earthmoving equipment operator for ongoing work.
This opportunity will suit operator seeking long-term employment who will contribute to a positive workplace culture and maintain high safety standards.
About the role
Working across civil construction and earthmoving projects, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating excavators to undertake excavation, trenching, bulk earthworks, loading and site preparation.
- Reading and interpreting plans, diagrams and site instructions.
- Completing daily machinery inspections and reporting faults or maintenance requirements.
- Working safely around other machinery, workers and underground services.
- Following site procedures and work health and safety requirements.
- Working with supervisors and other team members to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Skills and experience required
- At least 3 years civil earthmoving experience.
- At least certificate III level qualification.
- Heavy vehicle driver’s licence.
- NSW Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card).
- Sound understanding of occupational health and safety and work health and safety requirements.
- Ability to read plans and diagrams.
- Supervisory experience preferred but not essential.
