The Chance

We are partnering with a growing ASX-listed business within the aquaculture and food production industry to recruit an experienced Senior Financial Accountant.

Reporting to the CFO & Company Secretary, you will play a key role in financial reporting, statutory compliance, treasury management and corporate governance. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong CA/CPA-qualified professional who enjoys working in a dynamic, growing business.

Previous experience within an ASX-listed environment is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage statutory reporting, external audits, taxation compliance and ASX reporting obligations.
- Support corporate governance, financial controls and company secretarial activities.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury management, banking facilities and working capital.
- Manage inventory, asset accounting and reporting, including inventory valuation and operational performance.
- Analyse capital expenditure, investment appraisals and project costs.




- Partner with the CFO and operational teams to provide accurate financial insights and support business decisions.

About You

To be successful, you will have:

- CA or CPA qualification.
- Demonstrated experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar finance role.
- Essential experience working within an ASX-listed business.
- Strong technical accounting, statutory reporting and audit management skills.
- Solid knowledge of taxation, treasury and financial controls.
- Experience with inventory accounting, fixed assets and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet competing deadlines.

Experience in aquaculture, agribusiness, manufacturing, food production or FMCG will be highly regarded, as will exposure to biological assets, ERP systems and inventory valuation.
