As Elba scales its wholesale and channel partner division, we’re seeking an Estimator to support accurate, efficient pre-construction delivery across a growing pipeline of detached housing projects.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, this role is central to Elba’s pre-construction function.

You’ll be responsible for BOQs, tender preparation, site cost assessment and preparing purchase orders. You’ll play an important role in making sure homes are accurately costed, documented, and ready to move smoothly through the next stage of the workflow.

This is a hands-on estimating role for someone who values accuracy, structure, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare BOQs across detached residential projects
- Assess site costs and identify cost items relevant to each project




- Prepare tender documentation and pricing support
- Raise purchase orders in line with approved estimating outputs
- Respond to site-related queries as required
- Maintain accuracy across product, pricing, and estimating information
- Support smooth workflow between estimating and broader pre-construction teams

What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience in residential estimating or a similar role
- Strong BOQ capability and confidence working with take-offs and costings
- Sound understanding of site costs and pre-construction requirements
- High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage volume and deadlines without compromising quality
- Clear communication and solid follow-through
- Practical, organised, and solutions-focused approach
- Residential building experience strongly preferred
