Experienced Associate Dentist | Clinical Autonomy + Mentorship | Albury

3–5 days per week | No weekends | Established private patient base | Modern 7-chair practice

If you’re an experienced dentist who loves doing high-quality dentistry but wants the time, support and clinical freedom to do it properly, this could be the opportunity you’ve been looking for.

At City Gardens Dental, we’re looking for an experienced Associate Dentist to join our established team in Albury-Wodonga.

This isn’t a role where you’ll be pushed to rush patients or simply hit production targets.

We believe good dentistry takes time, great dentistry requires a great team, and long-term patient relationships are built on trust.

Why City Gardens Dental?

We’ve been caring for the Albury-Wodonga community since 2008 and have built a highly regarded private practice with generations of loyal patients and strong existing demand.

We’re now looking for another clinician to help us increase our capacity while maintaining the standard of care our patients know us for.

You’ll benefit from

- Strong existing patient demand within a long-established private practice
- Clinical autonomy to diagnose, treatment plan and practise ethically
- Mentorship without micromanagement, with experienced clinicians available for case discussion and support
- Exposure to a broad range of general, restorative, cosmetic and complex dentistry
- A modern 7-chair practice with OPG/CBCT, intraoral scanning, rotary endodontics, implant surgery facilities and a designated laboratory

- Nitrous oxide sedation facilities and access to a day surgery immediately above the practice for treatment under general anaesthetic
- Experienced hygienists, an OHT, dental assistants and an established administrative team supporting you
- Regular clinical discussion, feedback and opportunities to continue developing your skills
- Monday–Friday hours with no weekends
- A genuinely supportive team that enjoys working together both inside and outside the practice

Most importantly, you’ll work with owners who understand what it is like to be an associate dentist themselves. We want you to have the independence to develop your own clinical style, while knowing that experienced colleagues are there when you want another opinion or want to expand your skills.

The Dentist We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have 3+ years of clinical experience and be comfortable providing high-quality general dentistry.

More important than ticking every clinical box is how you practise.

You’re likely someone who

- genuinely cares about the person sitting in the chair
- values quality over quantity
- communicates well and takes the time to build patient trust
- exercises good clinical judgement and knows when to ask for support or refer
- wants to keep developing professionally

- enjoys being part of a collaborative clinical team
- has high standards of integrity and professionalism
- is looking for somewhere you can stay, grow and build the next stage of your career

You’ll need a recognised dental qualification and current AHPRA registration. Life Outside the Surgery Matters Too

Albury-Wodonga offers the advantages of a major regional centre without many of the compromises of city living.

Shorter commutes, a robust food and social scene, sport and outdoor activities, and a thriving local community mean you can build a great dental career without allowing dentistry to consume your entire life.

Our practice sits alongside the Albury Botanic Gardens, with our surgeries looking directly across the gardens.

Remuneration

We offer a competitive commission structure based on experience, with the details discussed openly with the successful candidate.

The position can be structured across 3–5 days per week for the right person.

Interested? Start With a Conversation.

You don’t need to have decided to move jobs before speaking with us.

If this sounds like the type of practice you’ve been looking for, we’d love to have a confidential conversation about where you are in your career, what you’re looking for next and whether City Gardens Dental might be the right fit.

Apply through this advertisement, or contact Lisa at [email protected] for a confidential discussion.

Do great dentistry. Keep growing. Have a life outside of work.
