Smilescape Orthodontics is looking for a Senior Dental Assistant Superstar to join our growing startup specialist practice. We’re seeking someone who brings experience, initiative and a positive attitude, can confidently support our clinical team, and is happy to assist with consultations and reception when needed.

Starting casually on Tuesdays and Fridays, with the opportunity to grow into a permanent role. As the practice expands, we’re looking to add further days in the future, creating the potential for more hours, greater responsibility and future leadership opportunities.

✨ What You’ll Bring to the Team

Clinical Confidence & Expertise

- Confidently assist the Orthodontist with a range of orthodontic procedures.

- Take high-quality digital photographs and intraoral scans.

- Deliver appliances and provide patients with clear oral hygiene instructions.

- Maintain excellent infection control, sterilisation and clinical standards.

- Maintain sterilisation and clinical equipment including chairs.

- Keep accurate clinical notes and records using practice software.

- Keep track of stock and ordering.

A Little Reception Magic

- Welcome patients and families with warmth and professionalism.

- Assist with appointment bookings, confirmations and patient enquiries.

- Answer phones and support the front desk when needed.

- Help keep daily practice operations running smoothly.

Senior-Level Initiative

- Take pride in your work, the practice and lead by example.

- Bring a proactive, can-do attitude and a keen eye for detail.

- Contribute ideas to improve systems, workflows and the patient experience.

- Employment: Casual to start, with the prospect to transition to permanent part-time
