EXPERIENCED LABOURER – NOT YOUR AVERAGE

OUTDOOR JOB! ?

$33–$39 per hour Super | Full-Time | Wattle Grove, Perth WA

Ever seen a massive, mature tree being lifted out of the ground and relocated to a new home? Imagine being part of the crew that makes it happen.

Relocating mature trees isn't for everyone. It's challenging, hands-on and definitely not your average labouring job. But it's pretty awesome to be part of!

At Arbor Centre Group, we're looking for an experienced, hardworking labourer to join our Tree Supply & Relocation Team.

You'll be working alongside an experienced crew, helping relocate established trees, operate equipment, prepare sites and bring some pretty impressive projects to life across Perth.

And when you're not moving big trees? There's plenty of other interesting work happening across our business, including supply and installation of our Tree Farm stock into projects around Perth and more.

If you enjoy working outdoors, getting your hands dirty and being able to look back at the end of the day and say, "I helped make that happen," this could be the job for you.

? A BIT ABOUT US

Arbor Centre Group is a proudly WA-owned, family-run business that's been operating since 1985.

We specialise in Everything Trees, from relocating massive established trees to supply and install of trees, tree surgery, planting, watering, maintenance, infrastructure protection, consulting and specialist tree care.

We're a close-knit team that works hard, looks after each other and enjoys what we do.

We believe a good workplace is about more than just getting the job done. It's about having a great crew around you, being recognised for your efforts and enjoying a few laughs along the way.

? WHAT WILL YOU ACTUALLY BE DOING?

Your main role will be working with our Tree Supply & Relocation Team, assisting with the preparation, lifting, transportation and replanting of mature & tree farm trees.

Some of your day-to-day tasks will include:

- Assisting with the relocation of mature and established trees across Perth

- Preparing trees for relocation, including root ball preparation, digging and wrapping

- Assisting with the loading, unloading and positioning of large trees

- Working around trucks, excavators, cranes and specialist tree relocation equipment

- Preparing planting locations, excavations and reinstatement works

- Tree planting, staking, mulching and establishment works

- General labouring, site preparation and equipment maintenance

- Supporting our Tree Maintenance, Watering & Aftercare and Green Surgery teams when required

- Working with an experienced crew on a wide variety of projects

One day you could be helping relocate a massive tree, the next you could be planting trees on a new development or assisting with specialist tree maintenance works.

There's plenty of variety, and no shortage of opportunities to learn.

✅ WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're not expecting you to know how to relocate a 10-tonne tree on your first day. That's what our experienced team is there to teach you.

But we are looking for someone who knows how to work hard, has good common sense and isn't afraid to get stuck in.

What you'll need:

- Previous experience in a hands-on labouring role

- Current White Card

- Previous excavator operating experience
- A robust work ethic and willingness to learn

- Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

- Current driver's licence (manual preferred)

- A safety-first approach to everything you do

Bonus points if you've got:

- MR or HR truck licence

- Skid steer or other machinery experience

- Experience in landscaping, civil works, earthmoving or arboriculture

- Chainsaw or other relevant tickets

- Experience with tree planting,

landscaping or irrigation

Don't have tree relocation experience? No problem!

If you've worked in civil construction, landscaping, earthmoving or similar hands-on industries, your skills could transfer really well into what we do.

We're happy to teach the right person.
