Factory Hand/Warehouse role reporting to the Production Manager in a food processing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Be familiar with company food safety & quality policy, food safety & quality objectives, quality procedures and work instructions
- Ensure that hygienic practices, personnel hygiene and GMP requirements are adhered to at all times
- Repacking bulk products and retail products
- Complete quality system records related with production operations
- Set up equipment for production according to the procedure; ensure that surfaces are cleaned and sanitized before starting
- Complete cleaning and sanitation procedures and schedules as directed
- Produce and monitor process according to the procedure
- Operate plant equipment and machinery in an productive, hygienic and safe manner
- Report any production problems to the Production Manager
- Place any suspected non-conforming materials or products on hold and report immediately to the Production Manager for further assessment
- Help pack orders for dispatch
- Fill in for driver run when drivers are away
About you
- Skills and knowledge of food safety and hygiene in food processing environment
- willing to work as part of a team
- Experience in Food Production setting
- Follow instructions
- Full Australian Drivers License
