What you'll do In this role, you'll support families experiencing post-separation conflict to reach agreements on parenting arrangements and resolve family law matters relating to finances and property. You'll conduct risk assessments, prepare clients for Family Dispute Resolution, and facilitate mediation sessions using evidence-based approaches, including Child Inclusive Practice.

You'll provide information and referrals to support clients through separation, counselling and legal processes, ensuring all work aligns with the Family Law Act and relevant regulations.

- Permanent contract
- Full time role (5 days a week)
- Based at Blacktown
- Approx $51 to $56 per hour (depending on skills and experience)

What you'll bring

- Accreditation with the Australian Government Attorney General’s Department Register of Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners is essential




- A tertiary qualification in Law, Social Sciences, Social work, or Mediation/Dispute Resolution (preferred)
- Demonstrated high level skills in family dispute resolution, including assessments and mediation interventions
- Demonstrated ability to work in a child focused approach
- Solid understanding of relationship dynamics, domestic and family violence, child safety, trauma informed practice, diversity awareness and mental health and wellbeing
