Aged Care Support Worker | Community Access

Number 1 Care is seeking a mature, compassionate and outgoing support worker to assist an aged care client who enjoys getting out and about.

We are looking for someone who sees support work as more than just a job. Someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with older people, building meaningful relationships and providing person centred care.

Shift Details

Frequency: 2 days per week

Usual hours: 9:30 am to 1:30 pm

Total: Approximately 8 hours per week

Some flexibility is required as shift times may occasionally change depending on the client's activities and appointments.

About the Role

- Supporting community outings, shopping, cafés and recreational activities
- Providing companionship and engaging in meaningful conversations
- Assisting with mobility and ensuring safety during outings
- Encouraging independence, choice and social participation
- Respecting the client's preferences and individual routines

About You
- Mature,



friendly and enjoys a good laugh
- Patient, compassionate and genuinely caring
- Confident communicating and building relationships with older people
- Reliable, flexible and respectful
- Passionate about providing person centred support
- Previous aged care experience preferred

Requirements
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- National Police Check
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Relevant aged care or disability support experience
