Mercury Solar is a fast-growing renewable energy company helping Australian homeowners save on their electricity bills through solar and battery solutions. We're currently expanding our Melbourne field sales team and looking for motivated, confident individuals to join us!
Have experience in door-to-door or field sales? We'd love to hear from you for one of our Field Team Leader positions, where you'll have the opportunity to lead, train and develop a growing sales team.
No sales experience? No problem! We're also recruiting for Entry-Level Field Sales Representatives. If you're outgoing, motivated and willing to learn, we'll provide you with the training and support to get started.
About the Role
This is a face-to-face residential field sales role where you'll be working in local Melbourne neighbourhoods, speaking directly with homeowners about solar and battery opportunities. You'll represent Mercury Solar in the community, introduce homeowners to our services and arrange appointments with our solar consultants.
We are currently hiring for two positions:
1. Entry-Level Field Sales Representatives
- Engage with homeowners through face-to-face residential outreach.
- Introduce our solar and battery solutions.
- Identify interested homeowners and arrange qualified appointments.
- Work towards daily and weekly performance targets.
- Participate in ongoing sales training and development.
- Build confidence, communication and sales skills.
2. Field Team Leaders (Experienced)
- Lead, motivate and manage a team of field sales representatives.
- Provide hands-on coaching, training and support in the field.
- Organise daily team activities, territories and schedules.
- Monitor individual and team performance against KPIs.
- Lead by example and contribute to appointment targets.
- Report team performance and development opportunities to management.

- Comfortable approaching and speaking with new people.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work outdoors.
- Previous sales or customer service experience is an advantage, but not essential for entry-level applicants.
- For Team Leader applicants: Previous experience in door-to-door sales, field sales or leading a sales team is highly regarded.
