Curtis Coast Excavators' is seeking an experienced Final Trim Excavator Operator to join our team in Gladstone, QLD on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for operating various machinery to complete the final stages of construction projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail.
What you'll be doing
- Skilfully operate excavator machinery to perform final trimming and finishing work on construction sites
- Carry out accurate grading, levelling and landscaping tasks to exacting standards
- Coordinate with project managers and other tradespeople to complete tasks on time and to specification
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on assigned equipment
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Final Trim Excavator Operator in the construction industry
- Formal qualifications in plant operations, civil construction or a related discipline
- Excellent spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to overcome challenges on site
- A commitment to workplace safety and a demonstrable safety-first mindset
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
