We are seeking a Finance Broker to identify, compare and arrange suitable loan solutions for clients. You will assess clients' financial circumstances and funding requirements, and recommend appropriate lending arrangements based on their individual needs and financial objectives.

Working closely with clients, lenders, and relevant internal teams, you will coordinate loan applications, negotiate financing terms, and facilitate the lending process from initial assessment through to approval and settlement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Interview prospective and existing clients to understand their financing objectives, assess their borrowing needs and determine their specific financial requirements.
2. Analyse clients' financial positions, including income, assets, liabilities, cash flow, existing debts and repayment capacity, to identify suitable financing options and assess their eligibility against relevant lending criteria.
3. Research, compare and review loan products, considering interest rates, fees, loan terms, repayment structures, eligibility requirements and other relevant conditions.
4. Recommend suitable loan products and financing structures tailored to clients' circumstances.
5. Arrange and negotiate finance on behalf of clients through banks, lenders and financiers, including coordinating loan applications, indicative terms,



financing conditions and settlement.
6. Prepare, review and coordinate loan applications and supporting documentation, including financial statements, income evidence, property information, loan conditions, repayment arrangements and proposed loan periods, ensuring applications meet relevant lender requirements.
7. Maintain ongoing communication with clients, lenders, solicitors, valuers and other stakeholders to address enquiries, resolve documentation issues, monitor application progress and facilitate timely completion of financing transactions.
8. Monitor changes in lending policies, interest rates, finance products and property market conditions, and keep clients informed of relevant financing options, loan requirements and developments that may affect their borrowing arrangements.

Requirements
1. A tertiary qualification in Finance, Banking, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
2. A sound understanding of financial assessment and borrowing requirements, with the ability to evaluate finance options and identify suitable loan structures based on clients’ needs and repayment capacity.
3. Well-developed organisational skills to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a rapid-paced environment.
4. Effective communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build client relationships and liaise professionally with lenders, financiers and other stakeholders.
5. Robust analytical and problem-solving skills; able to prepare accurate loan documentation, coordinate multiple applications and meet deadlines.
