About the role

NOAHS on the beach is seeking a friendly and energetic Food & Beverage Attendant to join our team on a casual basis. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced hospitality environments and enjoy delivering exceptional customer service. You will be based at our venue in Newcastle NSW, working flexible casual hours that suit your availability.

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable experience whilst maintaining the highest standards of service and cleanliness.

Key responsibilities

- Greeting and welcoming guests to the venue with a warm and professional manner

- Taking food and beverage orders from customers and processing them accurately

- Serving food and drinks promptly and courteously to patrons

- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of tables, bars and dining areas throughout service periods

- Restocking bar supplies, glassware, cutlery and other service essentials

- Clearing and resetting tables between seatings

- Assisting with cash handling and processing payments using point-of-sale systems

- Following health and safety regulations and food handling procedures

- Supporting the team during busy periods and responding to guest requests with professionalism

- Providing recommendations on menu items and beverages when requested

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is advantageous

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail





- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work various shifts including evenings and weekends
- A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards

- Responsible attitude towards health, safety and hygiene practices
