About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable, safety-minded Forklift Driver to join our warehouse team at our Dandenong South site. You’ll keep product moving efficiently, from receiving deliveries to getting orders out the door accurately and on time. It’s a hands-on, active role in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks and containers
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using an RF scanner
- Receive incoming goods, check them against paperwork and put them away in the correct locations
- Keep the warehouse and loading dock clean, organised and safe
- Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures at all times
- Complete pre-start checks on equipment and report any issues
- Work closely with the dispatch, production and inventory teams
What We’re Looking For
- A current High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF class)
- Proven experience and confidence operating a forklift in a busy warehouse
- Experience using an RF scanner for picking and stock movements
- Good physical fitness. The role involves manual handling, lifting and long periods on your feet
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- A safety-first attitude and a good work ethic
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work well in a team
Desirable
- Experience in a food manufacturing or cold storage environment
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Experience with temperature-controlled products
